The “Programme ministériel des aides techniques à la communication” (PMATCOM ) is a program of the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services (MHSS).

The Program lends equipment to handicapped persons in order to help them overcome certain disabilities.

The technical aids covered by the program are divided into five (5) categories :

Speech aids
Augmentative and alternative communication aids
Adapted telephones
Computer access devices
Environmental control systems.

The PMATCOM is managed by Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant of CHU Sainte-Justine.
